MIDCENTURY MODERN ORIGINAL

Midcentury Modern Classic Reimagined for Today
This homeowner wanted a modern-day take on Eichler-inspired midcentury design, blending classic clean lines, open spaces, and natural light with the functionality of work-from-home living. The result? A beautifully streamlined home featuring warm wood tones, expansive glass walls, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow, all thoughtfully designed to support both productivity and relaxation.
MODERN MIDCENTURY ORIGINAL

Modern Elegance with a Midcentury Touch
This home blends sleek modern appeal with just a hint of classic midcentury flair. Clean lines, a neutral palette, and thoughtfully chosen materials create a contemporary feel, while subtle midcentury elements—the classic MCM courtyard, walls of windows, and the iconic glass-lined breezeway—add timeless character. The result is a home that feels both fresh and familiar, perfectly balancing past and present.
REMODEL - KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY

Honoring Tradition, Creating a Home for the Future
This beloved farmhouse, passed down through three generations, has seen its share of additions over the years—resulting in an awkward layout in need of thoughtful reimagining. The homeowners wanted to preserve their family home while making it truly their own, blending modern functionality with its historic charm.
To achieve this, we gave them 3 options for their remodel that includes: transformation of the old U-shaped kitchen into an open, functional space with plenty of storage, a main-floor laundry for everyday convenience, a primary en suite with a tub, larger closet for comfort & organization, a dedicated pet zone for their furry family members —all while keeping plumbing within the original footprint to ensure a cost-effective remodel
The result? A home that maintains its rich family history while evolving into a functional, comfortable, and personalized space for generations to come.
FROM FULL ON 80s TO MODERN FARMHOUSE

From 80s Flop to Family-Friendly Functionality
This remodel transformed an outdated 80s layout into a seamless, livable space for today’s busy family. The cramped U-shaped kitchen was reimagined for better flow and usability, while a once-awkward bedroom with a tub was reworked into a luxurious master suite. A smartly designed addition allowed for a full en suite, a half bath, and a main-floor laundry with direct access to the en suite closet—all while keeping plumbing within the original footprint to ensure cost efficiency. The result? A beautifully modernized home that’s as functional as it is stylish.
1920s REMODEL

From Outdated to Outstanding: A Thoughtful 1920s Revival
This remodel transformed a 1920s home burdened by a poorly executed 1980s update, reworking its layout for modern functionality and flow. By repurposing an underutilized eat-in kitchen, the home now boasts a well-organized mudroom, an upgraded half bath, and a convenient main-floor laundry. To top it off, a bright and airy 4-season catio was added—creating a perfect retreat for both the homeowners and their feline friends. Classic details were thoughtfully restored, ensuring the home’s historic charm shines through its refreshed, timeless design.
REMODEL BEFORE, RENDER & AFTER

MIDCENTURY REMODEL
Bringing Light & Openness to a Midcentury Gem
This home transformation revitalized a dark midcentury space, once altered by a 90s remodel, into a bright and open retreat. By embracing a modern open floor plan, expanding the kitchen, and maximizing natural light with larger windows, the home (remodel in progress) feels airy and connected. Thoughtful touches—original wood accents, midcentury-inspired fixtures, and clean architectural lines—preserve its midcentury roots while bringing it beautifully into the present.

THAT 70s NO
Opening Up a 'Just No' 70s Kitchen
This closed-off 70s eat-in kitchen was ready for a transformation—starting with removing the outdated indoor grill and improving the cramped layout where the fridge and oven were too close for comfort. By opening up a wall, the space now enjoys better light and stunning city views, all while maintaining the home’s warm wood tones for a cohesive look. Working within a budget-friendly plan, the design preserved existing gas and plumbing locations and reused appliances, proving that smart design can create a fresh, open, and functional kitchen without unnecessary costs.
